Why we built this
Every PDF tool we tried uploaded our files to someone else's server. Client contracts, tax returns, medical records — all sent to infrastructure we couldn't see, governed by policies we didn't read, retained for durations we couldn't control.
We built WhisperDocs because we wanted a PDF tool we'd actually trust with our own documents. Everything runs in your browser using WebAssembly. There's no server to breach because there's no server involved.
How privacy works here
Your files are processed entirely in your browser. We never see them, store them, or transmit them.
Load the page, disconnect your wifi, and keep working. That's how you know nothing is being sent.
Open your browser's DevTools, check the Network tab. Zero file uploads. We dare you to check.

We're a small, independent team. No VC funding, no data monetisation, no incentive to compromise on privacy. The product pays for itself through subscriptions, not surveillance.
